Over the past 47 years, it has played an important role in promoting the economic integration of its fourteen member states, with more than 4,000 billion FCFA mobilized through its interventions.<\/p>\n<p>Drawing on its own experience, FAGACE is aware of the need to modernize in the face of a constantly changing international environment, and in an Africa with a strong need for integration.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the new 2021-2025 Strategic Plan, which constitutes our Institution&#8217;s compass over the next five (05) years, it is important to present FAGACE&#8217;s vision, which can be summed up as: &#8220;To make FAGACE a modern Institution that contributes to development financing and economic and financial integration in Africa&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, in alignment with this vision, the Fund seeks to hire a highly qualified <strong>Head of Office<\/strong> for its West Africa Regional Representation based in Senegal (Dakar).<\/p>\n<p><u><strong>Duties:<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<p>The incumbent will work under the direct responsibility of the Regional Representative with the following missions: contribute to the development of activities and profitability by identifying, analyzing, controlling and monitoring the risks of FAGACE&#8217;s guarantee requests and commitments.<\/p>\n<p><u><strong>Responsibilities :<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Approach banks and partners to obtain guarantee applications;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and structure guarantee applications;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare guarantee applications for the Evaluation Committee and the Guarantee Committee, and participate in these internal committees;<\/li>\n<li>Follow up files under examination by the decision-making bodies and draft any additional information required;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare notifications and implementation forms for certain large or sensitive files;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare guarantee files for national and international guarantee funds;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare, in collaboration with the line manager, the documentation required for the various Committees and the Board of Directors;<\/li>\n<li>Monitor relations with financial and technical partners;<\/li>\n<li>Manage the Representation&#8217;s general resources;<\/li>\n<li>Organize regular meetings with banking partners at the Representative Office;<\/li>\n<li>Organize promotional campaigns for FAGACE products and services;<\/li>\n<li>Set up a directory of the Fund&#8217;s partners in the UEMOA zone and Mauritania.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u><strong>Main organizational relations :<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Line manager: Regional Representative for West Africa.<\/li>\n<li>Internal functional relations: with all Fund employees.<\/li>\n<li>External functional relations: Banks, labor inspectorate, social security fund, tax authorities, accounting firms, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u><strong>Profile:<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hold at least a BAC+5 degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics or any other equivalent qualification;<\/li>\n<li>Have at least ten (10) years of proven professional experience, including five (05) years in a Credit Manager position within a Financial Institution;<\/li>\n<li>Excellent command of financial guarantees;<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in adversarial credit analysis and portfolio management;<\/li>\n<li>Mastery of financial analysis and accounting techniques;<\/li>\n<li>Master banking regulations;<\/li>\n<li>Strong commercial temperament;<\/li>\n<li>Good command of IT and office automation tools;<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of credit risk management;<\/li>\n<li>Good computer skills;<\/li>\n<li>Be rigorous and autonomous, reactive and proactive;<\/li>\n<li>Good level of English;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure;<\/li>\n<li>Good character and ability to work as part of a team;<\/li>\n<li>A sense of responsibility and professional restraint;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage priorities and make proposals;<\/li>\n<li>Be a national of one of the Fund&#8217;s fourteen (14) member states;<\/li>\n<li>Age limit: Maximum 50 years on December 31, 2023.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u><strong>Job location: <\/strong><\/u>Dakar, Senegal<\/p>\n<p><u><strong>Submission of applications and documents to be provided :<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<p>Applications must be sent to FAGACE by e-mail only, to <strong>jobstalents@fagace.org<\/strong> for the attention of the Managing Director, with <strong>the compulsory subject line &#8220;CANDIDATURE FOR THE POSITION OF HEAD OF OFFICE AT FAGACE&#8221;<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This offer expires on March 27, 2024 inclusive at 5:00 pm (GMT).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The application file includes :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The application form, which must be completed if the application is not to be accepted (form to be downloaded from the website www.fagace.org in the FAGACE &amp; YOU section);<\/li>\n<li>A letter of motivation addressed to the Managing Director of FAGACE;<\/li>\n<li>A detailed curriculum vitae (plus a color photo).
