POSITION TO BE FILLED: SENIOR BILINGUAL EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT (FRENCH-ENGLISH) (F)<\/p>\n
The Fonds Africain de Garantie et de Coop\u00e9ration \u00c9conomique (FAGACE) is a genuine instrument in the financing mechanism for Africa’s development. Over the past 46 years, it has played an important role in the economic integration of its fourteen member states, with more than CFAF 3,000 billion mobilized through its interventions.<\/p>\n
On the strength of its own experience, the Fund is aware of the need to modernize in the face of an ever-changing international environment, and in an Africa with a strong need for integration.<\/p>\n
Within the framework of the new 2021-2025 Strategic Plan, which constitutes our Institution’s compass over the next five (05) years, it is important to present FAGACE’s vision, which can be summed up as follows:<\/p>\n
“To make FAGACE a modern institution that contributes to development financing and economic and financial integration in Africa”.<\/p>\n
Therefore, in alignment with this vision, the Fund seeks to hire a highly qualified Senior Bilingual (French\/English) Executive Assistant who will be under the direct supervision of the General Manager with the following missions and responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Duties and responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Provide high-level administrative and organizational support to the General Manager and cabinet members;
Ensure quality control by checking documents for accuracy, ensuring compliance with FAGACE guidelines and procedures;
Contribute to the preparation, formatting and production of documents and correspondence in both French and English;
Ensure perfect translation of documents and correspondence into French and English;
Manage the General Manager’s diary and schedule appointments;
Ensure physical and telephone reception;
Ensure the transmission of information internally and externally;
Prepare and organize meetings and draw up minutes;
Work closely with the Managing Director and his staff;
Organize meetings and travel for the General Manager;
File and archive documents;
Report to line management.<\/p>\n
Profile:<\/p>\n
Hold a Master’s degree in Management and Business Administration, Diplomas and International Relations or any other equivalent qualification;
At least five (05) years’ proven professional experience as a bilingual Executive Assistant, including at least three (03) years in an international organization;
Proficiency in Office 360 and its office automation fleet (Word, advanced Excel, Powerpoint);
Good written and spoken French and English spelling and grammar;
Master the techniques of assistantship, communication and administrative management;
Be discreet, rigorous and autonomous, reactive and proactive;
Be perfectly at ease communicating in French and English;
Be able to work under pressure and enjoy teamwork;
Ability to organize one’s workstation and activities, identify priorities and adapt to varied tasks;
Ability to manage stress during periods of intense activity, and to make suggestions;
Be a national of one of the Fund’s 14 member states;
Be immediately available;
Age limit: Maximum 45 years old by December 31, 2023.<\/p>\n

Job location: Cotonou, BENIN<\/p>\n
Type of employment contract: Fixed-term contract with a trial period of six (06) months (if successful, signature of a permanent contract).<\/p>\n
