The African Guarantee and Economic Cooperation Fund (FAGACE), an international public economic and financial establishment specializing in the promotion of public and private investments, headquartered in Cotonou in the Republic of Benin, is launching a call for tenders for the choice of two (02) auditor firms.<\/p>\n
This offer is reserved for accounting firms established in one of the FAGACE member countries.<\/p>\n
At the end of the final selection, the selected firms will have the mission of reviewing the accounts and verifying the internal control system of the Institution.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
I- CONDITIONS:<\/p>\n
present a certificate of registration with an Order of Chartered Accountants of one of the member countries of the Fund as a Chartered Accountant;
be registered in the Commercial Register (presentation of a copy duly legalized by the competent authorities) and approved in one of the member countries of the Fund;
not be subject to a suspension, ban, exclusion or liquidation of assets (provide judicial certification of non-liquidation of assets);
be up to date with the social administration (Example: the National Social Security Fund, CNSS) and tax (original certificates of tax regularity and labor legislation dating back less than three (3) months as proof) ;
have proven experience and skills in carrying out financial audit and statutory audit operations;
have a good knowledge of International Development Finance Institutions;
use French as the working language and be available to complete the work within the required deadlines.<\/p>\n
Failure to comply with one of the above criteria will result in the outright rejection of the offer.<\/p>\n
II- COMPOSITION AND DURATION OF THE MISSION:<\/p>\n
The mission includes:<\/p>\n
\u2013\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 the review of the accounts as of December 31 of each year;<\/p>\n
\u2013\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 verification of the internal control system;<\/p>\n
\u2013\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 punctual intervention within the limits of its mission in case of necessity and at the request of the Fund Authorities;<\/p>\n
\u2013\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 proposals for strengthening the management system.<\/p>\n
The duration of the mission is two (02) accounting years starting from the 2017 financial year.<\/p>\n
III- WITHDRAWAL OF FILES<\/p>\n
Tender documents can be withdrawn:<\/p>\n

Against the payment of a non-refundable sum of 500,000 CFA francs.<\/p>\n
IV- ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AND SUBMISSION OF OFFERS:<\/p>\n
