  • PROJECT TO SET UP A DRIED FRUIT AND VEGETABLE PROCESSING UNIT IN KIBUYÉ, RWANDA: FAGACE APPROVES 60% OF THE BRD LOAN

FAGACE endorses 60% of the BRD (Banque Rwandaise de Développement) loan, i.e. 204 million F CFA, for the dried fruit and vegetable processing unit in Kibuyé. The purpose of the project is to set up a fruit and vegetable drying plant in Kibuyé. The project is justified by the need to valorize a local raw material (bananas) and by the existence of a buoyant market. The total cost of the project is 486 million Rwandan Francs (FCFA 486 million). The BRD loan amounts to 329.8 million Rwandan Francs, or 329.8 million FCFA.
