FAGACE’s General Management and staff sacrificed to the traditional New Year’s greetings ceremony on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. The ceremony was held in the Amadou BOUKAR conference room.

Invited to speak first, Mr William GBASSINGA, President of the Caisse Mutuelle de solidarité expressed his best wishes to the General Manager. He then thanked the General Management for its assistance in the smooth running of the Mutual before recalling the actions carried out by the CMS under the leadership of the office he has headed since May 26, 2017. Moving to a more dynamic course for a better contribution of the Mutual to the development of good social relations within the Institution is the objective of the President of the Mutual during his mandate. To this end, he has solicited everyone’s contribution to the construction of a convivial space at FAGACE.

On behalf of the staff, Mr Amidou AMADOU, the staff representative, implored divine grace to provide the General Manager and all staff with more light and wisdom to lead the institution to success. Secondly, he presented the staff’s best wishes to the General Manager, before urging all his colleagues to work hard. Finally, he brought to the attention of the Managing Director the grievances of the institution’s employees for an improvement in their working conditions.

For her part, Mrs Minafou Fanta COULIBALY-KONE, Managing Director of FAGACE, while thanking all the staff for the good wishes expressed to her, presented in turn her best wishes before congratulating them for the work done and the sacrifices made by managers at various levels to ensure the development of FAGACE’s activities.

It was also an opportunity for FAGACE’s top executive to give a frank account of the actions carried out over the past year, and to outline the vision and outlook for the year ahead.

The year 2017, she said, had been devoted to reforming the institution and defining FAGACE’s strategic plan 2.0. The implementation of this plan should enable FAGACE to develop solid partnerships with banks and decentralized financial systems, and ultimately play a key role in financing the economies of member states.

The ceremony ended with a festive cocktail party, during which FAGACE employees and the Managing Director enjoyed themselves.
