This June 05, 2018, took place in Cotonou, at FAGACE headquarters, the handover meeting between Madame Minafou COULIBALY KONE General Manager of FAGACE and Madame Naka GNASSINGBE – DE SOUZA, General Manager of ANPGF, current President of the Association Professionnelle des Institutions de Garantie d’Afrique (APIGA).
In his welcome address, the Managing Director of FAGACE reiterated his congratulations to the President on his brilliant election, before recalling the points outstanding, namely the need for the Association to register the final loss guarantee, used by most guarantors, at OHADA level, as well as the specificities of the profession with regard to current legislation in general, before explaining the desirability of creating an executive secretariat position to ensure better follow-up and guarantee the continuity of the actions undertaken.
In response, Madame de Souza, after expressing her gratitude to the General Managers of APIGA member institutions who, during the 6th General Meeting in Lomé, chose ANPGF to preside over the association’s destiny, reassured the audience of her commitment to bringing about the necessary renewal to ensure that guarantee organizations are recognized for their essential place in the sphere of financial institutions.
Its mission is to :
- form an action group to defend the interests of their common profession,
- create a framework for consultation and dialogue with a view to increasing their resources and improving their tools and methods of intervention,
- standardize the profession,
- harmonize their prudential rules,
- promote a better understanding of the warranty business.
