February 19, 2019, at its headquarters in Cotonou, the Fonds Africain de Garantie et de Coopération Economique organized, an exchange lunch with the heads of Benin-based Banks around the theme “FAGACE, the financial partner at the service of banks”.
This meeting, which follows on from that of January 2018 during which, the 2017-2020 Strategic Plan, as well as the Fund’s new operating mode were presented, is part of the annual exchanges with partner financial institutions in the Fund’s fourteen (14) member states.
In a convivial setting, the discussions provided an opportunity to exchange views on the Fund’s main priorities, the reforms that have taken place, achievements and prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation with banking partners in 2019, with a view to providing more effective support for financing the Beninese economy through SMEs.
