From November 21 to 22, 2022, the African Guarantee and Economic Cooperation Fund (FAGACE) co-organized with the Arab Bank for Economic Development of Africa (BADEA); the African Guarantee Fund (AGF); the African Trade Competition Assurance Agency (ACA); and the African Solidarity Fund (ASF), under the leadership of H.E. Mr. Ouhoumoudou MAHAMADOU, Nigerien Prime Minister, the African forum on risk reduction in investment and trade for Micro-Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
The objective of this forum is to reflect on and produce concrete solutions to reduce the risks associated with investment and trade for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), with the aim of fully releasing their potential to participate in the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (Zlecaf), for job creation and to ensure effective participation of women and youth in economic activities.
At the end of the work, a declaration on the financing of Micro-Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) was jointly signed to mark the desire of FAGACE and its various partners to support the financing of African economies in line with the Niamey resolutions. of the African Union on industrialization and economic diversification dated November 25, 2022.
