A delegation from the Fonds Africain de Garantie et de Coopération Economique (FAGACE) led by its Regional Representative in Central Africa, Mr. Yacoubou Abdoulaye, paid courtesy and exchange visits to several local banks and SGIs from April 03 to 07, 2023, with a view to revitalizing and developing a more fruitful partnership.
This outreach and information initiative is part of the 2021-2025 Strategic Plan “The New MOMENTUM”, and aims to make the Fund the preferred partner of financial institutions, a major player in the financing ecosystem of each of its member states.
On the agenda was a presentation of FAGACE’s new modus operandi for financing small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as the government’s structuring projects.
As a prelude to the meetings with its partners, the delegation was granted an audience with the Minister of Youth and Civic Education, Mr. Mounouna FOUTSOU, to discuss FAGACE’s contribution to the National Youth Fund currently being set up.
FAGACE has been present in Cameroon since 2008, and its representative office for Central Africa is based in Douala, Bonandjo, in the CNPS building.
This mission marks a new turning point in relations between FAGACE and its partners, with a view to providing further support for projects in the Republic of Cameroon, in particular through the Guarantee tools offered by the Fund.
