VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT: RECRUITMENT OF A GOODWILL AMBASSADOR

The African Fund for Guarantee and Economic Cooperation (FAGACE), an international public institution with an economic and financial mandate specializing in the promotion of public and private investments, headquartered in Cotonou, Republic of Benin, is launching a call for applications to recruit six Goodwill Ambassadors (three men and three women).

This recruitment is open to all citizens of the world.

Upon selection, the appointed Goodwill Ambassadors will be tasked with effectively representing the Institution, aligning their actions with FAGACE’s objectives, and significantly contributing to its growth.

I- ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Significant experience in the fields of finance, diplomacy, financial markets, the private sector, economics, banking, or international relations. Prior experience with international organizations is an asset.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with high-level stakeholders, including governments, financial institutions, international organizations, banks, and financial establishments.
• Strong understanding of development challenges in Africa and international financing mechanisms. Knowledge of the guarantee sector is an advantage.
• Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and manage diplomatic engagements.
• Ability to represent FAGACE at international conferences.

II- SCOPE OF THE MISSION:

• The Goodwill Ambassadors will primarily carry out their duties from their place of residence, in accordance with the guidelines set by the Director General of FAGACE.
• The Ambassadors may also fulfill their mission through virtual events, webinars, or online awareness campaigns.
• They will represent FAGACE at international events related to economic development and financing in FAGACE member states. This includes conferences, economic forums, and meetings with development partners.
