Position to be filled: MULTI-SKILLED LIAISON OFFICER (M/F)
The Fonds Africain de Garantie et de Coopération Économique (FAGACE) has played an important role in the economic integration of its fourteen member states over the past 47 years, mobilizing more than 4,000 billion CFA francs.
Drawing on its own experience, FAGACE is aware of the need to modernize in the face of an ever-changing international environment, and in an Africa with a strong need for integration.
Within the framework of the new 2021-2025 Strategic Plan, which constitutes our Institution’s compass over the next five (05) years, it is important to present FAGACE’s vision, which can be summed up as follows: “To make FAGACE a modern Institution that contributes to development financing and economic and financial integration in Africa”.
Therefore, in alignment with this vision, the Fund is looking to hire a Multi-Purpose Liaison Officer for its West Africa Regional Representation based in Senegal (Dakar).
Duties :
Logistics assistant, protocol, driver, courier, the incumbent will work under the direct responsibility of the Regional Representative with the following missions: The main mission of the multi-skilled liaison officer is to travel to various institutions on behalf of FAGACE.
Duties and tasks:
- Distribution of parcels, documents and envelopes from FAGACE to institutions or from institutions to FAGACE;
- Preparation and management of administrative documents for other institutions;
- Management of administrative procedures (bank, insurance, tax).
Main organizational relationships :
- Line manager: Regional Representative for West Africa.
- Internal functional relations: with all Fund employees.
- External functional relations: Banks, labor inspectorate, social security fund, tax department, accounting firms, etc.
Profile:
Candidates’ profiles must meet the following expectations:
- Knowledge and experience: BEPC / CAP level;
- Language: French (mandatory) and English is an asset;
- Expected skills: Very good knowledge of the city of Dakar, public and private institutions and Dakar suburbs; Ability to read and write documents;
- Good communication skills in French and Wolof;
- Relation to work: Professionalism, integrity, honesty, discretion, sense of priorities and ability to work under pressure; Good presentation.
Conditions:
- Valid category B driver’s license.
- Ten years’ professional experience in a similar position.
- Duration: 6 months with a 1-month trial period.
- Remuneration: in accordance with the current FAGACE salary scale.
- Location: position based in Dakar.
