The African Guarantee and Economic Cooperation Fund was represented by its Director General, Mr. Ngueto Tiraina Yambaye who participated from March 22 to 24, 2023 in Lomé, in the meetings of the Bodies of the African Society for Biofuels and Renewable Energy (SABER ABREC ) of which FAGACE is a shareholder.
Indeed, SABER is an international organization with its headquarters in Lomé and its capital is held by 15 shareholder states (Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Ivory Coast, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Chad and Togo) and 6 financial institutions (BIDC, BOAD, Ecobank, FAGACE, IEL and Nexim Bank).
It operates in the field of renewable energies and energy efficiency and provides technical assistance to States and private individuals in the areas of energy efficiency, the production of energy injected into the network, rural and peri-urban electrification, support for financial mobilization, advice and training.
On the sidelines of the official meetings, Mr. Ngueto Yambaye was received by the President and CEO of SABER, Mr. Adji Otèth AYASSOR.
Alongside SABER, FAGACE reaffirms its commitment to supporting the development of renewable energies in its member states and in Africa.
